As more and more monkeys appear in the blockchain realms, the fight for the alpha monkey status became more fueled with aggression and violence. While the monkeys continue to fight one another, a small faction within the monkey community escaped from the vicious cycle. Believing that to be kind is more important than becoming number 1 at the expense of another.

These minorities fled and found refuge in the Cardano blockchain where everyone is kind, supportive, and motivating. They soon settled, reproduced, and build their own community based on their ethos. They became known as the Gentle Monkez. The Gentle Monkez aren't afraid to be silly, have fun, and always help one another.

Is there utility for these NFTs?
Yes there is! Holders can participate in weekly raffles as well as trivia games to win ADA rewards. On top of that, holders will also have access to holder-verified channels where you can run for DAO Council to get further involved in the Gentle Monkez project. Elections will be decided through votes by the community.

How will you grow the treasury to make sure it doesn’t get depleted?

We are planning to grow the treasury by the following means:

  • Providing liquidity on Cardano defi. All transaction fees earned and yield from LP tokens redeemed will go to the treasury.

  • Staking with small SPOs earning roughly 4-6% APY.

  • 50% of royalties on secondary sales will go to the Rewards Treasury.

Decision on allocations and introductions to new treasury wallets will potentially be adjustable based on Gentle Monkez DAO’s votes.

What wallet can I use?
Never send ADA from an exchange when you mint. Only use wallets such as Daedalus, Yoroi, ADALite, Nami. We always recommend Nami wallet.
